The thing about changing one’s deco at home is the need to look at the curtains, window blinds, sofa covers and cushion covers. you can’t just get a tub of paint and start slapping it on all over the place. To form a fnished look, there needs cohesion bnetween all the properties and these also need to co-ordinate with the flooring, be that tiles and/or floorboards, like I have. For twenty some years I have enjoyed the pale green cream garden themed pattern on the curtains in my garden room which is the L shaped section of the kitchen. Now though, I need a change of gear. Something a bit more snazzy and colourful. I fancy some ginger/tan/gold shades for my soft furnishings and to that end we need to have a co-ordinating shade of paint to go with the curtains and cushions. I would do the work myself but there is the small problem of painting the ceiling – this is something I would most certainly struggle with.
