Turning Shambolic House into Streamlined Office

I have a large family house, currently all to myself.  It is tempting to think that just selling up and moving to a smaller one would be a breeze.  This is not the case for many people – including me.  There the things you can’t overlook such as sentimentality and a strong sense of being disloyal to the once buzzing and throbbing family home.  But when you look at the dilemma in a cool and clear way, itis hard to get away from the fact that the house costs more to run if it’s bigger than needed becaue you tend to keep the heating on in all rooms.  The cost of decorating it is substantial too and ensuring the house is always very presentable and completely clean is more difficult the older I get.  So these thoughts have brought me in full circle – to do anything about marketing the house, I need to get it cleaned up, decorated and transformed into the fantastic 4 bedfroom executive detached family home I always hoped we’d live in. . .
